Before the month of February that others call the "Love Month" ends, let me share with you this great love story. Brian is a bachelor who loved Whitney, a single-mom of Brielle, her daughter. If most men weigh virginity of their bride as a top requirement for a woman to be married, Brian is different.

When Brian asked Whitney to marry him, he knew he would not only be marrying her, but accepting her daughter, Brielle (Breezy), into his life as well. During their wedding, they recite their personalized vows to each other, and then Brian turned to his soon to be step-daughter and presented her with another set of vows just for her. The significance of that gesture is one that will be remembered by mother and daughter for years to come. The moment he is sparing on his wedding day for a little girl who may never remember the specific words said to her is one that will never really be forgotten.

Watching this video of their story will surely make you cry.

February 12, 2015.

After Qatar won the bid for Qatar2022 FIFA Worldcup, news about changes and reformation in Qatar Labor Law have become everybody's top wishlist. Related news published in local newspapers and websites revealed initial highlights that include changes in Kafala system, giving more flexibility in the NOC requirement, mandatory salary transfer through bank accounts for the government to monitor that employees/labourers are properly paid, improved housing and accomodation for employees/labourers and a lot more promising changes.

The very big question that lies now among the expatriates, and for sure among our Filipino Communities is this, 'When shall these changes be finally implemented?"

In the meantime, the latest version of the Labour Law of Qatar can be read/downloaded from Qatar government portal. View/Download here!
